Chasity graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and obtained her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, with a focus in Transactional Tax Planning. She is admitted to the Bars of Tennessee (2009) and Texas (2007). She began her career at a certified public accounting firm where she focused in estate planning for middle to high net-worth families.
Several years later, she opened her own law practice, focusing on probate, estate planning, and family law. In 2015, she joined her current firm where she practices probate, estate planning, and elder law. In 2017, the firm changed its name to Peppel, Grice & Palazzolo, P.C.
Chasity has previously taught as an adjunct professor in the Legal Studies department at the University of Memphis where she taught family law and estates, trusts, and probate law.

Membership And Appointments In An Array Of Associations
Chasity is also a member of the Memphis Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate Section. She serves as a board member for the Memphis Bar Association and also active with the Probate section of the Association. She serves also as West Tennessee Governor for the Tennessee Bar Association, Young Lawyer’s Division, and is the current coordinator of the Annual Wills for Heroes clinic.
Mrs. Grice recently completed her fellowship as a Trusts and Estates fellow of the American Bar Association Real Property Trust & Estate section and now serves as a Young Leader of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Additionally, she is the vice chair to the Elder Law and Long-Term Care committee with the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estates section. In 2017, she was voted the Nation’s Best Advocate “40 under 40” by the National Bar Association. From 2017 to 2020, Chasity was voted for inclusion to the list of Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star.”
Knowledgeable Probate Representation
Chasity is regularly appointed by the Probate court judges to serve on probate matters and also occasionally serves as Substitute Judge for the Shelby County Probate Court.
One thing is for sure, Chasity has dedicated her career to assisting people, including those with disabled loved ones, small children, and small business owners in their estate planning, business succession and other transactional needs. She strongly supports public education and holds seminars to educate the community on various legal rights.
